I love working in tents- they are a blank canvas with endless possibilities. Kim and Mark’s Dinner Tent was something special indeed. The soft robins egg blue draping with wood veneer drum shades and grass cloth-esque flooring helped bring the beach feeling without the sand. But what really made this tent unique was the integrated kitchen design into the guest dining tables. Our couple and their families love fine food and breaking bread around a table together so we brought the meal to the heart of the wedding like a Sunday night at home. The incredible talents of Epicure Catering, lead by Cammie and Andy, were like living art pieces creating exquisite cuisine and adding an energy that the guests found contagious. The meal was a food lovers dream and all being prepared in front of those a part of the feast. One of my favorite touches about this design was the “backdrop” to the kitchen. We left the end of the tent open to the wooded area just beyond the property, bringing the alfresco experience as close to dining outdoors as we could. Bon appetite!
