Aimee & Benjamin’s Cherry Basket Farm wedding in Omena, Michigan, was a lovely event with such a great vibe! Rich in detail and beautifully laid back, the crowd enjoyed the best Cherry Basket Farm has to offer. I really enjoyed working with Aimee and Benjamin- they knew what they wanted from the beginning of the planning process, which made my job easy. They were looking for an intimate, laid back outdoor celebration, focused on food, friends and family. Many of the guests traveled from afar (Spain!) to attend, and had not met one another. A Friday barbecue featuring house made porchetta from our in ground-oven was a fantastic kick-off event for the guests. For wedding day, a long cocktail hour and a menu that was designed to promote mingling all aided in the setting the scene. Aimee created beautiful and chic details with her stationary, linen, fashion, and floral choices. Coffee, local fruit pies and a dance party in the barn rounded out the blissful evening.
